Costner is now officially part of Zack Snyder's Superman cast. Warners issued a statement yesterday confirming the news: :"Jonathan Kent is the only father figure Clark has ever had, the man who was there to help Clark understand what he was meant to do in the world as Superman. Kevin will be able to communicate the quiet strength of this rural American man who raised the greatest superhero of all time."

Hmmm, after seeing "Mr Brooks" a few weeks ago, I have to say not everything is lost for Kevin Costner. To be fair, if you had seen "The last Legion" with Collin Firth, would could never imagine him getting an Oscar nomination or winning that award after that horrendous piece of acting.|||He was good in Silverado and to a lesser extent American Flyers (the Russian was awesome in that film), partly because it's a two wheeler movie and he wears a big hat.
