Rejoice, ye socialist Soros-lovers! Beck to leave Fox!

Straight from the horse's mouth:

Fox News and Mercury Radio Arts Announce New Agreement; Beck to Transition Off Daily TV Program

The Left will commence messy orgasms of triumph over the success of their boycott, which was led by multiple organizations directly associated with the Executive Branch. Fox loses a liability, because it's hard to claim impartiality when one of your noiser mouthpieces has called the President racist. And Beck? He's got so much money he can wipe his arse with the dollars he claims will soon be worthless.

Win-Win-Win!|||Now I don't need to listen to my roommate watching his stupid crap all the time! Hurray!

|||NOOOOOOO! You will be missed.

Wait, Glenn Beck? lol R.I.P. leech|||Quote:

That Bueno picture is just plain unsettling.|||I'm a moderate and I couldn't stand him.

Beck walked a path that was so far right ( and if you go left far enough you'll find it as well) that he was no longer a conservative, but a friggen whack job.|||Wouldn't put yourself too out there Merf. Looks like he's doing an Oprah.

FOX NEWS AND MERCURY RADIO ARTS ANNOUNCE NEW AGREEMENT

NEW YORK— FOX News and Mercury Radio Arts, Glenn Beck’s production company, are proud to announce that they will work together to develop and produce a variety of television projects for air on the FOX News Channel (FNC) as well as content for other platforms including FOX News’ digital properties. Glenn intends to transition off of his daily program, the third highest rated in all of cable news, later this year.

Roger Ailes, Chairman and CEO of FOX News said, “Glenn Beck is a powerful communicator, a creative entrepreneur and a true success by anybody’s standards. I look forward to continuing to work with him.”

Glenn Beck said, “I truly believe that America owes a lot to Roger Ailes and FOX News. I cannot repay Roger for the lessons I’ve learned and will continue to learn from him and I look forward to starting this new phase of our partnership.”

Joel Cheatwood, SVP/Development at FOX News, will be joining Mercury Radio Arts effective April 24, 2011. Part of his role as EVP will be to manage the partnership and serve as a liaison with FOX News.

Ailes said, “Joel is a good friend and one of the most talented and creative executives in the business. Over the past four years I have consistently valued his input and advice and that will not stop as we work with him in his new role.”

“Glenn Beck” is consistently the third highest rated program on cable news. For the 27 months that “Glenn Beck” has aired on FOX News, the program has averaged more than 2.2 million total viewers and 563,000 viewers 25-54 years old, numbers normally associated with shows airing in primetime, not at 5pm. “Glenn Beck” has dominated all of its cable news competitors since launch.

So I'd say he's upping his game rather than being dropped - but I'm sure he'll take some time getting to that same conclusion on air.

-Art|||It would be a shame to see Beck go...

without him, where are we going to get quality tv like this:

|||Does this mean I have to go back to watching Sprinkler Conspiracy Lady.

How dull.|||Quote:

Hey, more power to him. He's done more for American social studies education than anything on TV since Schoolhouse Rock. Plus S.E. Cupp is working for him now, and she's delightful (and an Atheist! )

That being said, I've not watched him for a couple of months or more; his show stopped being entertaining when it went from guest/interview format to largely monologue.|||Third-highest-rated program? My god, this explains so much.
