Man hit by SUV while playing live Frogger

Quote:

A man in Clemson, South Carolina, had to be hospitalized after he was hit by an SUV while playing a live version of an arcade game, CNN affiliate WYFF reports.

The 23-year-old man and some friends were acting out the video game Frogger, in which players try to send frogs across a busy highway without getting run over.

Police said the man, whose name was not released, yelled "Go!" and darted into traffic, where he was struck by a 2010 Lexus SUV.

|||He didn't die? He would have been a nomination for the Darwin Awards otherwise...|||Did it make youtube? Oh please tell me Ray William Johnson is gonna make fun of this!|||See? Video games are dangerous.|||Quote:

He is not a Clemson University student, police noted.

So... Is this something that would be expected from a Clemson University student, or why was this worth pointing out?|||Quote:

Can you imagine when somebody wants to play live tetris...?|||Oh geez, I swear people have no brains these days. Happy New Year for that guy...not.

As for the university thing, I don't know if that's what would be expected from a person going to that college but it seems to me it makes sense he isn't in college if this is the scope of his mentality. Sheesh.|||Quote:

You'd be suprised I'm sad to say.|||Well now he must not have been very good at it then.

I've NEVER gotten hit by the speeding cars. The sinking turtles on the other hand...

I'm worried how that live version of Bubble Bobble is going to turn out.|||Quote:
