See at this time of year, we all like to talk about fun and games. Phew! Do I know how busy it can get whilst at work. That's why instead of having all my friends come over at odd hours to interrupt my Off-Topic time I decided to put together this little publication.

I like to call it OSSaGaN, but you can call it anything you like. One little scamp once told me he called it tomorrows trash

In here you will find all the little tit-bits of joy that rumour mills and marketing strategies dish out to keep you, the consumer, hungry for more.
Feel free to co-author this journal, keeping your peers and your idols abreast of contemporary knowledge from the gaming, console, PC and handheld market.

Now you may be right, perhaps the OFT room will want to discuss the finer details of excellence from your discovery. It might be that you've found something that will alter lives, save babies and generally make the world free from communism. However! Prior to posting in there and getting in other people's way, why not try here first - if it's good enough I'm sure some people will point out that others may wish to elaborate upon it, why it's almost like you are a minor celebrity breaking the news to those closest to you first.

Of course it does. It deserves it. When you buy spore, you buy more than just the game - you buy the game and the malware. Buying malware makes it an incredibly bad product, fitting of a one-star rating.

So if something BIG comes out and it makes a crack on our everyday lives (Like Spore TBH) then people will post about it in a dedicated thread for that game.
When the Xbox goes down in price or is releasing a new OS for their console, or EA start a rumour about their newest yet-to-be-released game then here seems appropriate.
So most conjecture can go here, most tinkering updates that if anyone really wanted to know about them everyday then they'd join a dedicated forum related to it can go here and any and all other news that isn't already breaking ground in the gaming market can go here too.
It's just to stop the OFT being the Omni-Focussed Technology section of the boards and more, well, off topic.
Kids dying or killing because of games, well depends how funny/topical/educational it is I suppose!
These aren't rules or nothing, just an active poster who wants some of his OFT back.

Anyway, Sir Jack has the basic gist of it. Post dribs and drabs of everyday gaming news here. Big stuff can get its own thread. If I think it's not big enough, maybe I'll move it here. Maybe not, who knows.
