"It's a very bizarre TV commercial for a product like this," said Zombie. "Honestly, I was shocked when they called me to do it."
So, how long do you think this'll be allowed to run on TV?|||How long will it run?
First off, I find it a hilarious original commercial for such a generic brand name (kudos). As far as the horror aesthetic, it is nothing compared to what we regularly see in TV horror movie adverts.

The tiny pink shirt against the murderous guy is sure to garner some unintended "pedophilic rapist" overtones, so no, I don't think this would be appropriate.
I could see where rape/violence may be interpreted by some; pedophilia though, I think is looking far too much into nothing.
I for one, find the pink shirt sequence a humorous nod to the cliche female in distress so overdone in horror.|||Is it that bad? I thought it was pretty funny, TBH.|||Quote:

Exactly the kind of idiotic response I was talking about. It's always morons like that poster that yell the loudest and spoil things for the rest of us.|||As funny and clever as I find it, some people get scared really easily. I think segments of their target market will find this unappealing. I'm not sure if it'll get pulled or not, but I think this is a case of creativity that misses the mark. Well-executed, but off-target.|||It's unusual, but it's no "Dog Breath". It's not even close to the tamest of horror movie ads of late either.

("Dog Breath" was a UK Wrigley's ad that got rightfully banned back in the early 2000s. I remember actually feeling physically sick every time I saw it)
