Bacon, the staple of life.

I think it's time we change the subject a bit in order to brighten the mood here.

Friends, I'd like to talk to you today about another of my favorite foods: Bacon.

Bacon is one of those foods that can make almost anything taste better. It's quite the versatile food as well. It can be used as a topping, a side dish, or even a main dish. In certain circumstances when your friend bacon is coupled with its powerful ally, Cheese, you get a formidable duo of culinary prowess.

I think bacon and cheese is quite possible the best combination of food on this planet.

Although, I could be wrong. It may just be that I've been sided with Bacon and Cheese for so long that I've missed other pairings of equal or greater importance.

Well, it would be your choice of course! |||Bacon is the reason I can't be a vegetarian. It comes in a very close third behind chocolate and rice pudding in the overall yummy food stakes, and tops the list of savouries. And when combined with cheese, and preferably lettuce or other salad leaves as well, and some warm crusty bread....... mmm heaven.



Imma voting bacon and cheese.|||Yum. Bacon is indeed one of the foods of the gods...excepting, of course, for Porkos, who is the god of pigs.

Cheese, under the right circumstances, only enhances its awesomeness.|||Best of both worlds, Bacon AND Cheese... Cheddar preferred. And Bacon neatly cooked so that it's got some juicy flavor to it... not, "crunch oh my god is this a bad cookie?"|||Bacon and cheese with barbeque sauce, on top of chicken.

Really not healthy though. |||Seeing as how I enjoyed a Bacon Cheeseburger last night at Fuddruckers, Bacon and Cheese seems the appropriate selection.

All in moderation, of course. (although I did try the 1lb burger last night, which was entirely too big... but I figured "at least once", ya know?)|||Quote:

But of course!

That is THE hotspot for my cheat meal every two weeks. I Fuddruckers burgers. A turkey burger with bacon, swiss and mushrooms was my last godlike meal....divine!|||Give me bacon or give me death!
